Since the deregulation of BT in 1984, communications technologies have evolved almost as rapidly as computing technologies, and are often now integrated with them. Founded as a communications company in 1982, Connecting London has been able to evaluate emerging technologies and pick the winners. TDM (PSTN)

Standard fixed-line access is still the basis of most telecommunications systems, capable today of great sophistication in applications. From a simple voice connection to computer integration with access to the full range of modern automated services available, we supply and instal systems that can grow as your business grows.

We usually recommend Panasonic fixed or DECT (cordless phone) systems, for their reliability, advanced capability and value for money.

Mobile services and phones

Increasingly integrated with computer systems, mobile telephony continues to advance in capability. We meet your requirements, including 3G, with the latest Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Blackberry phones.

For 18 years, we have connected customers exclusively to Vodafone - long enough for us to be sure that Vodafone consistently offers the best combination of connectivity, coverage and cost-effectiveness. An authorised Vodafone dealer, we still connect to the Vodafone service only. We provide expert support in selecting the most suitable tariff.

For visitors or temporary requirements, we offer a mobile phone rental service.

Advanced services:-

Broadband: we supply broadband access, including ADSL and the latest SDSL.

VOIP: in certain circumstances, Voice over IP can now take voice communications out of BT's PSTN (Public Services Telephone Network), to give 'free' computer-to-computer voice communications. We already have VOIP operating successfully for clients.

Low-cost routing: automatic selection of the lowest-cost transmission path through the public network can make valuable cost savings for heavy telephone users.
